Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Theyesmoment ("we", "us", or "our") processes information when an authorized user uses the Theyesmoment Publishing Assistant (the "Application") to connect a Pinterest account and publish content through Pinterest API v5.
1. Scope and purpose
The Application is an operations tool for preparing, reviewing and publishing compliant product image Pins to Pinterest boards selected by an authorized user. It uses the official Pinterest OAuth authorization flow and Pinterest API v5 only. It does not ask for or collect Pinterest passwords, browser cookies, or simulated browsing behavior.

3. OAuth credentials and security
Pinterest access tokens and refresh tokens are treated as secrets. They are stored only by the isolated OAuth service in encrypted form. The desktop client and its local task database store only a non-secret credential reference. App secrets and tokens are not intentionally written to source code, client logs, Git repositories, or front-end storage. Refresh tokens are replaced atomically when Pinterest rotates them.
4. How information is used
We use information only to:
- connect and identify an account authorized by its owner;
- read that authorized account's boards and Pins as required by the requested workflow;
- create image Pins after the user reviews and confirms the complete assignment;
- refresh authorization, prevent duplicate submissions, and show task results;
- protect the service, diagnose errors and comply with applicable policies and law.
5. Sharing and third parties
Information is transmitted to Pinterest only when necessary to perform an action requested by the authorized user. Pinterest processes that information under its own privacy policy and terms. Hosting and security infrastructure providers may process limited operational data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for unrelated advertising.
6. Retention
- OAuth credentials are retained while the account remains connected and are deleted after a successful disconnect or revocation.
- Incomplete OAuth connection sessions expire automatically after 15 minutes.
- Publishing plans and task history are stored locally on the user's device until the user deletes them or removes the Application's local data.
- Diagnostic information is kept only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting and is configured not to contain access or refresh tokens.
7. User choices and deletion
Users may disconnect a Pinterest account in the Application. Disconnecting requests token revocation and deletes the stored OAuth credential after confirmation. Users may also revoke access from their Pinterest account settings. To request access, correction or deletion of server-side information, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify the requester's identity.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
9. Children
The Application is a business operations tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Application.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect product, legal or operational changes. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised effective or last-updated date.
